Brothers,
December is holy because of two special days. Dec. 8, the Feast of the immaculate
Conception celebrating that from her conception and for eternity, Mary our Mother, was free
from sin, so as to be able to fulfill her special role in Salvation history, the mother of Jesus Christ
our savior. Remember to attend Mass this day as it is always a Holy Day of Obligation.
And then the big day itself, Dec. 25, when great celebration is given to the Birth of Christ! The
world and the Church need the presence and graces of being in love with Jesus Christ. We do
this by virtuous living living out Christ’s life in the here and now.
It will be my special prayer for my brothers and their loved ones experience Christ in new and
wonderful ways during this special season.
May God bless us and may Mary keep us always in His love!
